Kids' Program at the Arizona BudokanSince 1973, Shihan Rudy Crosswell and his team of instructors have been using a multi-layered teaching approach that goes far beyond stylized punching and kicking. Kids learn:
Self Defense and KobudoUnlike most schools, we integrate our empty-hand training with classical kobudo (including the bo staff, tonfa, ni-tanbo, and sai) as well as practical defense strategies that can keep your child safe. CompetitionsThough we are not a tournament-focused school, we do go to select local and statewide tournaments each year to showcase our kids’ performance. Our students routinely place in the top three in all events, and come back proudly wearing their medals. Lasting BenefitsParents are always telling us about the benefits and growth they’ve seen in their children—at home, in school, and even in other sports they play. Our kids tell us how much fun they are having and how proud they are to be learning practical and authentic martial arts. |
